Founded in the first year of the Taisho era, we continue to maintain the traditional method of creating Nagoya Folding Fans that began in the Houreki era (1751-1764). Every step of the process, including the fan ribs, paper, the fold, and the finish holds fast to those traditional methods.

Midway through the Shōwa era (1926.12.25-1989.1.7) we began to produce fans for export. Increased demand for our fans for use in events and as gifts soon followed thanks to their originality and high quality. To this day we continue to strive to create fans that meet the expectations of any era.
